These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") apply to all purchases of bespoke furniture ("Products") from Parlidon ("we", "us", "our"). By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1.1 All furniture is made to order to your agreed design specifications.
1.2 An order is confirmed only once we have received written approval of the final design, and a 50% non-refundable deposit.
1.3 It is your responsibility to ensure measurements, materials, finishes, and any other specifications are correct at the time of approval.
1.4 Any design changes requested after approval may incur additional charges and may affect lead times.
2.1 Our furniture is handcrafted, often using natural materials. Variations in colour, grain, texture, and appearance are normal and not classed as defects.
2.2 Natural materials such as wood may expand, contract, or naturally change colour over time; this is not considered a manufacturing fault.
2.3 We reserve the right to make minor technical or structural adjustments to improve performance or durability.
3.1 All prices are stated in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable.
3.2 Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
3.3 Additional services such as installation, custom finishes, or site-specific work will be charged separately if not included in the quote.
4.1 A 50% non-refundable deposit is required before production begins.
4.2 The remaining 50% balance is payable before delivery.
4.3 Work will not commence until the deposit has been received.
4.4 Late or failed payments may delay production and delivery.
5.1 Lead times are estimates and begin once the deposit and all required approvals have been received.
5.2 Delays can occur due to material availability, supplier issues, or unforeseen circumstances. We will notify you of any significant delays.
5.3 We are not liable for delays outside our reasonable control.
6.1 Delivery and installation fees will be clearly stated before order confirmation.
6.2 You must ensure adequate access (doors, stairs, lifts, hallways) for safe delivery and installation.
6.3 If access is restricted, extra charges may apply for additional labour, specialist equipment, dismantling, or return visits.
6.4 Risk of damage or loss passes to you upon delivery.
6.5 If you are unavailable to accept delivery or installation on the agreed date, storage or redelivery charges may apply.
7.1 As all items are bespoke, orders cannot be cancelled once production has begun.
7.2 The 50% deposit is strictly non-refundable, including where you change your mind after production has started.
7.3 Bespoke items are exempt from standard UK consumer right-to-cancel rules under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
7.4 Returns are not accepted unless the product is faulty.
7.5 If a fault is confirmed, we will repair or replace the item within a reasonable period. Refunds are offered only if repair or replacement is not possible.
8.1 Parlidon provides a 24-month (2-year) warranty against manufacturing defects. See our full Warranty page for details of coverage.
8.2 This warranty does not cover wear and tear; damage caused by improper use, accidents, or failure to follow care guidance; movement, cracking, or warping due to changes in temperature or humidity; or damage occurring after delivery or installation.
8.3 Warranty claims must be made in writing and include photographs of the issue.
You agree to provide accurate measurements and design information, prepare the site for installation, ensure access is clear and safe, follow our care and maintenance advice, and report any issues promptly.
10.1 All drawings, designs, concepts, photographs, and creative work produced by Parlidon remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing.
10.2 You may not copy, reproduce, or use our designs for manufacturing by others.
11.1 Parlidon's liability is limited to the value of the order.
11.2 We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as loss of income, project delays, or third-party costs.
11.3 Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be handled exclusively by the courts of that jurisdiction.
